Ray Oliver, President:
Ray, as so many people in this parish have done, escaped from the Northeast, specifically Trumbull, CT way back in 1990. He has been a member of Sts. Peter & Paul for 19 years and a Men's Club member for 5 years. Ray is self-employed as a Business Development Consultant. He is married to Shelly and has been blessed with 5 children. (4 boys & 1 girl) and one grandchild. Not sure which of these special interests is his favorite but he said he likes rock climbing and hang gliding.
Leo Fitzsimmons, Treasurer:
Leo along with his lovely wife, Diane (47 years) and family have been parishioners at Sts. Peter and Paul for 22 years. The last eleven of those years Leo has been a very busy, dedicated member of the Men's Club, filling many of the positions on the Board of Officers and being the general fix-it kind of guy that gets things organized, fixed and productive for the rest of us serving the Parish along with him. That may come naturally for Leo after spending 29 years serving in Uncle Sam's Navy, underwater no less, in Submarine Service. Topping that off with fourteen years at Sea World, yes, you guessed it, in the Water Quality Dept. Along with growing a family of two sons and a daughter, ten grandchildren and one great granddaughter, what does Leo do besides fixing things; He grows some very beautiful Orchids.
Gerry Marino, Secretary:
Like many of our parishioners, Gerry is a transplant from the Northeastern U.S.A., specifically N.Y., but, unlike a lot of the members of the parish, he has been here a long time. Gerry joined the parish in 1979 and has been a Men's Club member since then, except for a few breaks in service. Gerry is self-employed with his own business in the home repair field. He was employed in the telecommunications industry for 20 years and also found time to work in 24 years of service for the Marine Corps reserve. Even though he has been a widower for 10 years, Gerry is blessed with 3 wonderful children and two grandchildren. He makes his family and friends a high priority. Like so many of our Men's Club members, Gerry volunteers his time and serves on civic programs, leadership groups and the Winter Springs Rotary Club. Likewise, he is involved with the Marine Corps foundation and the Elks Club.
