The campus is closed except for 9am Mass and Thanksgiving Dinner from 1pm-4pm in the Parish Hall
Every year on Thanksgiving Day, Americans are encouraged to pause and give thanks to God. In his Thanksgiving Proclamation of 1863, President Abraham Lincoln wrote:
“The year that is drawing toward its close has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added which are of so extraordinary a nature that they can not fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever-watchful providence of Almighty God.”
As we come together this Thursday, November 23rd, let us start by giving thanks at 9:00am Mass in the church. As has been our custom in our parish, you are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to help stock the shelves of our Food Pantry which helps so many of our neighbors in the area.
Later, join us for our annual Thanksgiving Day meal starting at 1:00pm in the Parish Hall. Reservations are not necessary. Join us, your parish family, as we break bread together and give thanks for our many blessings.
Except for 8:30am Mass
