Youth Ministry

YOUTH MINISTRY – UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Goals of Youth Ministry:

Goal 1: To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.

Goal 2: To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic faith community.

Goal 3: To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

                                                         (Renewing the Vision, USCCB)

Adult Core Teams – Our youth are desperately in need of solid Catholic role models who can show and teach them what it means to be a missionary disciple of Jesus Christ and to live their Catholic faith as a way of life (not just something we do on Sundays or a religion with just a lot of rules).

As they journey along the path of discipleship our youth need adults who will meet them and accept them where they are and for who they are; who will listen to their concerns and struggles with genuine concern, patience and understanding; who will help them develop a true and authentic friendship with Jesus. If you are interested in joining either our High School Adult Core Team or our Middle School Adult Core Team, contact Marty at marty.mcclain@stspp.net or 407-636-4254.

Adult Volunteers are required to be compliant with the Diocese of Orlando’s Safe Environment policies including Safe Environment training and fingerprinting. Click here for additional information.
