Scouts BSA

Scouts BSA is no longer just for boys. Sts. Peter and Paul Church hosts two scout troops: Troop 613 for boys and Troop 4613 for girls. Troop 613 was originally chartered in 1973. The troop has fostered 66 Eagle Scouts in the 47 years that the Parish has been its host. Troop 4613 was chartered in 2020. The purpose of Scouts BSA is to build character, to train youth in responsibilities of citizenship, and to teach outdoor skills, teamwork, and leadership. Troop 613 meets *Sunday evenings in the Parish Hall and Troop 4613 meets in the Sts. Peter and Paul classroom. Activities include monthly camp-outs, summer camp, and community service projects. Girls and Boys 11 to 18 are invited to join.

*Fingerprinting may be required for adult volunteers
